FCA Removes ONA Read-only Access
Be Prepared: FCA to switch off ONA read-only access next month
17 September 2015
FCA News: Regulator switches off ONA read-only access (Online Notifications & Applications) in October 2015.
Ensure you've downloaded previous submissions.
The FCA informed in their September Regulation Round-up today that they will be switching off access to their previous Online Notifications and Applications system (ONA).
ONA was replaced last year by the FCA’s new Connect reporting system, however since then, firms have still been able to have read-only access to ONA for viewing and any of their previous online submissions on the system.
However, come 8pm on the 23rd October 2015, the FCA will switch off access for previous users of ONA. Thus now is the time for firms to check that copies of any and all previously submitted notifications and applications via ONA have been saved elsewhere.
